As you can see our website is mostly in norwegian, but we would like our english-speaking friends to be able to read a bit as well, so we have made a summary of our project here. :-)

We have called our project TACHEDO ( Tanzania christian health and development project), and it started as a dream in our hearts many years ago.
We are: Lene Elisabeth and Marcpharson Peter Shao. Lene Elisabeth is a nurse, from Norway, Marc is a carpenter, from Tanzania. We have three beautiful daughters: Milka Kathrin, Eirin Gladness and Vanessa.
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and the Saviour of the world. " For so God loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son. So that whoever believes in Him wont perish, but have etarnal life!" What an action of love for me and you!

Lene Elisabeth saw the need of more health services in Tanzania, that is why we choosed to build a health clinic in Kisongo, a maasai village abt 25 km from Arusha town. We started the building process in October 2006, and the clinic was officially opened March 12th 2009. It is now runned by the government, and gives help to lots and lots of precious people in Kisongo area!! :-)

Marc was working for a few years in Norway and saw the great opportunities to help many jobless and helpless young men in Tanzania. That is why we started a carpentry workshop. This is a way of fighting crime, because we know that lack of jobs and something to do leads to criminal methods in the search for money. We are located in Njiro, nanenane, and have now 4 carpenters, 3 paint and polish workers,2 machine operators and 1 student working with us fulltime! We opened january 2007 and we make the furniture you need :-)
At the moment we are renting a building, but we have bought a plot and started the buildingprocess of a new workshop! At the same plot we shall also build a studentcenter/training college for carpentry! It is very exciting!
